Haven't drawn Manga in ages, so I wanted to challenge myself in reproducing one of Ayami's extravagant Castlavania-based paintings.
I've always wanted to try her out.... try her out? ooops

We've already seen her work before but we haven't heard of her name, so... lol
I urge you to look her up and witness her extraordinary talent.

She's one of the best traditional manga artist, who's alive & kicking. IMO Loads of ppl would agree with that.

Critique as requested. Sorry for the (long) wait.

Excellent reproduction! You have a fine eye for detail, which is evident in this very well done re-production! There is not too much to comment on this piece since it is a re-production.

Great pen(?) work! I am astounded at your ability to re-produce the hair details.

As a whole, this piece is well done technically! The composition/balance of the piece is great as well!

That being said, I would point out that the hand in the lower part of the piece is drawn seemingly more refined than the upper one. The line quality is clearer and less "sketchy" for lack of a better word.

Great work! You definitely have tons of talent!

Your art is amazing, the scanning part is very difficult in pencils. why don´t you try after the scan to set the image in black and white? or try to photograph the work with a camera, because by experience, this kind of works doesn´t look like the original when you use a scanner. Damn scanners!!
